I worry...I think my favorite is #4, followed by #3. I worry about the grey ones being too trendy, too. Flooring is not exactly the place I'd want to follow the trend, only to find out in a few years that I'm sick of it. #4 is light, but I think that it will reflect your cottage feel nicely. Plus it's got enough color variation that I think it would hide dirt well.
